Spring semester is over and summer has officially begun.
Like always, I have a list of things I want to accomplish before the summer is over.
Get in shape | This has been an ongoing process. I have a love/hate relationship with exercise, and need to show my workout plan a little more love.
Read | Now that I don't have homework to worry about, I'm excited to do some reading I've been putting off. I plan on re-reading The Great Gatsby after seeing the movie (amazing!) and reading I Heart Recruitment in preparation for, you guessed it, sorority recruitment.
Learn to relax | During the school year, I feel like I'm going 90 miles an hour and constantly running on empty. I desperately need to learn how to practice the art of doing nothing.
Get organized | After working retail for nine months, my wardrobe has grown exponentially, but my closet has not. Summer will be the perfect time to get this under control.
Make + break habits | I have some really bad habits (drinking way too much Diet Coke, staying up way too late, etc.) that I want to replace with good habits (drinking water, sticking to a normal sleep schedule). Easier said than done.
It took me a while to think of the perfect embarrassing moment to share with y'all, which is why this is a day late.
The summer after my junior year in high school, I was on my backyard hammock with my boyfriend at the time. He got off the hammock so quickly that he made it flip, and I consequently fell out and onto the ground.
I was laughing so hard that I peed in my pants. In front of my boyfriend. At age 17.
Luckily, he was a good sport about it and didn't make fun of me too much. ;)
